Spiritual Light
Healing with spiritual light is healing with presence by bringing divinity back to the client. Using a process called transfiguration, the practitioner radiates light and it is reflected. The client's role is to absorb the light that is radiating in the room. Radiated light can take a dense state and transform it to a lighter state allowing personal transformation to take place.
Soul Retrieval
Soul retrieval may be needed when some emotional or physical trauma has occurred. This trauma can cause part of a person's essence to leave or escape as part of the psyche's great defense mechanism. Soul parts can also be stolen unconsciously. Common symptoms of soul loss can be disassociation, chronic illness, chronic depression, suicidal thoughts, chronic immune problems, addictions, recurrent themes, and "something just doesn't feel right". Soul retrieval returns the healed and whole essence to the person along with strengths, gifts, and talents that may have been lost. Soul retrieval opens the door for the client to see (look at) what is out of balance and change it.
Extraction
A spiritual intrusion may be caused by negative thought forms that have found an opening and made a home within you. These thought forms may be from your own repressed emotion or sent by someone else. Common indications of this would be localized pain or illness that may or may not be chronic. All illness has a spiritual cause, but not all pain is caused by an intrusion. Some pain may be caused simply by the natural aging process. Intrusions are misplaced energy and the extraction process puts it back in nature where it belongs removing any blockage it has caused. Extraction removes the intrusion and always replaces it with something positive such as spiritual light, colors, soul retrieval, or body part retrieval.
Body Part Retrieval
Body part retrieval goes very well with extraction work. Many world cultures believe that each and every body part has a spiritual aspect to it. Trauma can cause a part's spirit to leave the body and soul retrieval can be done to return that part's essence to the body. Phantom pain and organ removals can also have an essence retrieval. The practitioner works with the client's physical complaints and performs the individual retrievals one at a time.
Deposession
Deposession work is essentially psychopomp with an added element. In this case the "stuck" soul has made a home within someone that is living. The practitioner meets with the intruding entity and speaks to them to let them know that they have taken another body that does not belong to them. The practitioner helps this soul transcend the Earth plane, therefore leaving its former home. Transfiguration work is helpful with deposession as well.
Psychopomp
Psychopomp means "leader of souls" and works with souls who need help to transcend this physical plane after death. Some may have gotten stuck if there was a traumatic and/or unexpected death. Most times these souls don't want to be here but they don't know how to get out. It is the Shaman's responsibility to explain to these souls that they do not belong here anymore because they have died and help send them to a better place. Psychopomp work is very important as we (the living) cannot live fully conscious with all of the lost spirits influencing us. This work usually takes place at least 3 days after their passing.
Journeying can also be done for those who are in a coma. It is customary to wait at least 3 days before the work is done. People in this state are weighing the consequences of their choice to return to their body or transcend this world. It is the practitioner's responsibility to always ask first and foremost what the ethical action is to take in these types of situations. Shamanic healing can help the soul realize it should make a choice rather than to stay stuck in this state.

Dismemberment
Dismemberment is a core practice in every spiritual tradition that may help rid the body of illness. The client's energy body is visualized to be taken apart and then re-membered and rebuilt full of power and leaving out that which no longer serves them.
Stolen Souls
In Shamanic cultures it is intentional to steal a soul in order to disempower a person. In modern society this is done often and unconsciously. This is having a huge impact on society and is more common than we are aware of. The tendency is to steal someone else's soul if yours has been previously taken in order to feel whole. Also, every time you cannot forgive someone, you have stolen a piece of their soul. Replacing the lost parts repairs not only our ancestors, but the future generations as well. There is always a two part participation when soul theft happens. The one stolen from has not protected themselves which has left an opening for another to take something from them or they have willingly given part of themselves to another. Shamanism returns those soul parts that have been taken and gives them tools so they are not stolen again. This work can also be done in reverse as well so that you can release any soul parts that you have unconsciously taken or that have been given to you.
Soul of a Place
We project a lot of human emotion upon the land/a place which may cause the true essence of it to step aside. The practitioner will journey to either the ancestors or decedents to receive a ceremony that can be performed to invite the spirit of the land/place to return home. Sometimes this ceremony is done with the community to help raise the people's consciousness to the fact that a place has a spirit.
